  • Judges and Volunteers

Tennessee Valley BEST utilizes over 75 volunteers from Auburn University,Calhoun Community College, local citizens, civic groups, local and statewide companies, the State Department of Education, and other entities to serve as either judges or event personnel.

    Judges

You don’t have to be an engineer or have a science degree to judge. The competition has several components that anyone can judge. And judging is great fun, rewarding, and inspiring (you’ll be amazed at what BEST students will create)!

Download this sign-up form to volunteer as a judge. It includes information on each aspect of the competition that is judged.

    Event Personnel

There is a variety of volunteer jobs within Tennessee Valley BEST. To get a description of those jobs and a sign-up form, go here (will be posted shortly).

NOTE: on both forms are “due dates.” While we want volunteers to sign up by the deadline, we also know that this doesn’t always happen. So, we will find a job for you regardless of when you submit the form!
